| Hololight Stream is compatible with Unreal Engine source code builds, but only if there are no major differences in the code that Hololight Stream depends on. If you change any source code Hololight Stream depends on it won’t work. |
You can install Unreal Engine in two different ways.

There are two different ways you can install Unreal Engine.
Download and install Unreal Engine using the Epic Games launcher
You can download and install Unreal Engine using the Epic Games launcher. The Epic Games Launcher manages your Unreal Engine versions and projects. These instructions cover the process for downloading Unreal Engine 5.5.

Download the Epic Games Launcher and run the installation wizard.

Start the Epic Games Launcher.

Sign in or create an Epic Account.

After successfully signing in, select Unreal Engine in the left sidebar.

Select Library in the top bar.

Select the yellow + button next to Engine Versions.

Select the supported version you want to use.

Select Install and accept the End User Agreement.

Choose the install location. The default is "C:\Program Files".

Once installed, select Launch and you can start using Unreal Engine.
