Hololight Stream
Hololight Stream
Hololight Stream is an advanced XR streaming technology that offloads rendering from XR devices to powerful external servers. By leveraging this technology, it enables real-time, high-fidelity visualization of complex 3D data - without compromising performance or visual quality.
Hololight Stream enables you to connect to any application using OpenXR with Hololight Stream. This opens up countless OpenXR applications to work with the many devices that support Hololight Stream.
Once you’ve installed Hololight Stream on your computer, it will continue to run in the background until you choose to quit it. When running, you can find its icon in the Windows system tray.
"OpenXR is an open-source, royalty-free standard for interfacing with virtual reality and augmented reality devices." [1] When installed on a Windows device, Hololight Stream extends the OpenXR standard to allow Hololight Stream and the devices it supports to connect to any OpenXR application running on the Windows device.
