Install Hololight Stream with the silent installer
Install with the silent installer
| To install and use Hololight Stream on your Windows computer, you must have administrator rights. These rights are required to install Hololight Stream, set the active OpenXR runtime, and make changes to your license settings. |

Open Command Prompt. Make sure to run it as the administrator.

Enter the following and press Enter.
"Hololight Stream 2026.1.0.exe" /exenoui /q /norestart AI_DESKTOP_SH=1 AI_STARTMENU_SH=1 INSTALL_QOS=1 ADDLOCAL=ALL INSTALLER_MODE=AI_INSTALL /log "%TEMP%\install_log.txt"
A window will briefly appear. You can now search for "Hololight Stream" in the Windows Start Menu and open the utility from there.
Custom installation with the silent installer
You can also change the parameters in the previous command to better match the installer to your needs.

Sets the installer to install all features locally. |
AI_DESKTOP_SH=1 |
Sets the installer to create a desktop shortcut. |
AI_STARTMENU_SH=1 |
Sets the installer to create a Start menu shortcut. |
APPDIR=<INSTALLATION_PATH> |
Sets the installation destination. When undefined, the installer will install Hololight Stream in the default location, 'C:\Program Files\Holo-Light GmbH\Hololight Stream' |
INSTALL_QOS=1 |
Sets the installer to create a QoS policy. |
INSTALLER_MODE=AI_INSTALL |
Sets the installer to be able to do a fresh installation or a repair. |
Custom installation example
This command will install Hololight Stream in a different location than the default one.
"Hololight Stream 2026.1.0.exe" /exenoui /q /norestart APPDIR="C:\AdvancedInstallerSilentTest" AI_DESKTOP_SH=1 AI_STARTMENU_SH=1 INSTALL_QOS=1 ADDLOCAL=ALL INSTALLER_MODE=AI_INSTALL /log "%TEMP%\install_log.txt"
Uninstall Hololight Stream with the silent installer

Open Command Prompt. Make sure to run it as the administrator.

Enter the following and press Enter.
msiexec /x {7DC215DD-6E3B-4678-BA39-4C64054AB549} /qn /norestart INSTALLER_MODE=AI_REMOVE /log "%TEMP%\uninstall_log.txt"
The second argument is the product code of Hololight Stream. This code is different depending on the version of Hololight Stream. The example uses the code for version 2026.1.
