Use main menus in Hololight Space

Objectives

  • Be able to use main menus in Hololight Space.

Prerequisites

  • Hololight Space installed on your computer.

  • Hololight Stream Client installed on your supported XR device.

Menus

Hololight Space provides both a powerful Quick Menu for fast access and a more advanced set of features through the main menu.

You can access main menus through Quick Menu and Scene View:

  • In XR, open Quick Menu by looking at the palm of your hand and select Main Menu. Then, choose the menu you want to open. It will appear in front of you.

  • In Scene View, select the main menu icon in the menu bar. Then, choose the menu you want to open. It will appear in front of you.

You can grab the menu by its top bar to reposition it anywhere in your space.

Space Manager

Space Manager is your central menu for managing the hierarchy of objects in Hololight Space. It provides essential functions such as selecting, hiding, and deleting objects.

Interaction

Interaction offers the same core tools available in Quick Menu, but with additional options for more precise control. It provides a comprehensive set of features for selecting and manipulating 3D objects—allowing you to move, rotate, and scale your models with millimeter and degree-level accuracy.

Tools

Tools in Hololight Space include a wide range of features designed to enhance your experience. Use tools like exploded view, measurements, and cross sections to gain deeper insights.

Features such as hand motion capture and collision detection enable precise interaction. Additionally, the media player, stacking, 3D comparison, annotations, and animation player provide flexible options for presenting, reviewing, and analyzing your work.
