  • Be able to use the loading cube to efficiently bring 3D models into a space.

Prerequisites

  • Hololight Space installed on your computer.

  • Hololight Stream Client installed on your supported XR device.

Loading cube

Easily adjust scale, orientation, and placement of your 3D models before import with the powerful loading cube. The loading cube is a key feature in Hololight Space. It lets you adjust important import settings before bringing your 3D model into the space. This ensures everything is scaled, oriented, and placed correctly.

Loading cube import settings

  • Change unit
Adjust the unit of measurement for the imported model. Useful because different 3D programs export in different units.

  • Change scale
Resize the model to the correct scale. Helpful when models are exported at inconsistent sizes.

  • Change axis
Set the correct orientation for your model.

  • Mirror axis
Flip the model along a selected axis.

  • Preview
See a live preview of your model with the current settings.

  • Delete
    Cancel the import process.

  • Import object
Finalize and import the model with your chosen settings.

Use the preview option to check your model before importing it. This helps you avoid importing a model that is incorrectly scaled, oriented, or placed.
