Hololight Hub guide
Using this guide you will learn how to use apps hosted on Hololight Hub by connecting to them using Hololight Hub Client on your XR device. Specifically you will learn to:

Download and install Hololight Hub Client onto your XR device.

Start an app on hub.hololight.com.

Connect to the app with Hololight Hub Client on your XR device.

Stop the app when you are finished using it.

Download and install Hololight Hub Client on your device
To connect to an app hosted on Hololight Hub, download Hololight Hub Client onto your preferred XR device. Depending on the device, you can either download and install Hololight Hub Client through the device’s official store or download the client to your computer and sideload it onto your device.
Hololight Hub supports the following XR devices:

Download and install Hololight Hub Client using official device store
You can download and install Hololight Hub client using the app store on your XR device. Just open the store on your device and search for Hololight Hub or use one of the following links:

You can download and sideload Hololight Hub Client for the following devices:

To download Hololight Hub Client for sideloading:

Go to the Hololight Hub section of the Hololight download page.

Download the Hololight Hub Client application package for your device.

Sideload the application package onto your XR device. Use the links below to find the correct instructions for your device.
Start an application session on Hololight Hub

If you haven’t already, sign in to Hololight Hub using your email address and password.

You should now be on the "Apps" page. If not, select Apps on the side menu.

Find the tile for the app you want to start.

Select Start to start the app.
Hololight Hub Cloud - Select a region for your application sessionWhen using Hololight Hub Cloud, before selecting "Start", you can also select the region you want the application session to run in. This dropdown menu is available in the application’s tile. For a better experience choose a location closer to all users' physical location that will connect with Hololight Hub Client.
Region selection is not available when using Hololight Hub On-Premises. -
The app’s status will update as the app starts up. When the app’s status is "Available", you can then connect to the app with Hololight Hub Client on your XR device.

Stop an application session on Hololight Hub

If you haven’t already, sign in to Hololight Hub using your email address and password.

You should now be on the "Apps" page. If not, open the side menu and select Apps.

Find the tile for the application you want to stop.

Select Stop to stop the application session.

The app’s status will update as the application session stops.
